To Kill a Mockingbird turns 50!

The classic is getting older, but not showing its age! Along with giving it a read, I have two friends who have written related books. IN SEARCH OF MOCKINGBIRD by Loretta Ellsworth and UP CLOSE: HARPER LEE by Kerry Madden.
Along with these, Monroeville, Alabama (where the book is set and where Harper Lee grew up) will have an official celebration July 8-11. Learn more at www.tokillamockingbird.com.

It's amazing that such a talent of a writer in Harper Lee and no others books were written. The story is a classic and should be banner for justice.
